Starting anything new can be challenging. There’s new information, new situations and new challenges, which combine to create uncertainty and self-doubt. Golf is no different. The sport presents its own share of hurdles. Some are more practical, like not knowing how or where to get started. Others are perceptual – reasons, real or imagined, that make golf seem unapproachable. And then there are the emotional obstacles, those having to do with going outside our comfort zone to try something new.
Our goal with WELCOME2GOLF is to help you address these hurdles and arm you with the know-how and resources that will help you take the first step in what could be a lifelong and rewarding journey.

This is perfect for those who want to improve their skills from 100 yards and in. This group will meet for 90 minutes with a combination of instruction and play on the par 3 course at CommonGround Golf Course. You will hone your skills from a hole out perspective with games and competitions. The objective is to start at 25 yards and shoot 36 and realize quick success!! Need some help on a specific area of your game? Our single focused clinics are for all ages and abilities that will allow you to go deeper with your learning and improvement. In addition to our staff clinics, we will have guest instructors that offer a different perspective on individual areas of the game technical and mental skills to improve your overall performance.

The Groove Your Stroke Putting Clinic is presented by Jerry Walters, the area's premier putting instructor. This clinic will give you 5 drills with the Groove Mirror to help identify and correct your putting issues.
